OVERVIEW:

Our client approached us because they were facing a historic option agreement that had a strong bias to the developer, a PLC housebuilder. We provided detailed advice on the existing option terms and then met with the developer regularly to discuss, attending key meeting with the LPA on behalf of the landowners.

This helped us maintain a positive relationship with the developer, allowing us to overcome contentious issues.

We then provided detailed project strategy advice, inputting into technical advice provided to landowners. We also instructed counsel on behalf of the landowner to get the best results possible.
